Talaria electric motorcycles
Are Talaria bikes electric motorcycles or electric bicycles?
Talarias are electric motorcycles, designed to combine the agility and handling of a bicycle with the power and performance of a motorcycle.
Depending on the model and type-approval, you can find L1e versions, equivalent to a moped, and L3e versions, equivalent to a 125cc motorcycle.
What maintenance does an electric Talaria require?
Maintenance for an electric Talaria motorcycle is generally simpler than for a combustion motorcycle, as it does not require engine oil, fuel filters, or other elements typical of a thermal engine.
- Brake pads and discs.
- Tires.
- Suspension.
- Electrical connections and components.
- Battery status and care.
To properly maintain the battery, we recommend avoiding regularly draining it below 10%.
How long does it take to charge a Talaria?
Charging time depends on the model and the charger used. As a reference, a full charge usually takes approximately between 2 and 3 hours.
License, registration, and traffic
Must Talarias be registered and insured?
Yes. To ride on public roads, Talarias approved for road use must be registered and insured.
The homologated versions include the elements necessary for road use, such as turn signals, mirrors, lighting, and other required equipment.
After your purchase, we can provide the necessary technical documentation for registration. You can also request our registration management service.
What license do I need to ride a Talaria?
It depends on the motorcycle's homologation:
- L1e: AM license or higher license authorizing the operation of mopeds.
- L3e: A1 license or higher. It can also be ridden with a B license when corresponding legal requirements are met.
Regulations may change, so we recommend always checking the current requirements before riding.
